Boo! From the Faerie House

 

The friends were busy weeks in advance of Hallowe'en, getting their costumes ready. They even went to a studio for photos: 

Hedgehog/Skunk

T1/Tiger

Dog/ghost

Frog/Prince

T2/Mermaid

And, just for Hallowe'en, some friendly spiders.

Now they are ready to accept trick-or-treaters. Are you going to come?

Happy Hallowe'en everyone! 

Happy Thanksgiving from the Faerie House

 It has been a busy time at the faerie house. 

 Frog is doing some knitting, Dog is bringing in the last of the tomatoes, and Hedgehog has a very heavy job bringing a pumpkin home. 

Do you see the pumpkin pie? It is ready for tomorrow. Frog is keeping an eye on the pie to make sure no one thinks it should be sampled early.

There are some new friends at the faerie house. Two turtles have arrived. T1 is a very hard worker and is helping Hedgehog with the pumpkins.

T2 is digging carrots, but likes to take a more relaxed approach.

Fortunately the potatoes have been dug and washed. It was so dry this year that they weren't very dirty.

The friends at the faerie house give thanks for the treasures in each day. May you find a shiny rock, or make a new friend, or have some pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving weekend. 

In Memoriam

 

In memory of my cousin Roy. He was just 10 days older than me and was my first best friend. I am so grateful for the time we shared a month ago. 

I don't like to spell things out too definitively, but I feel a cloud of sorrow, he has left his earthly nest and his spirit has been set free.
