Sewing summer dresses in January

It was -37 this morning. This makes it harder for me to imagine that the dresses I made for going to Uruguay and Brazil should not have accompanying wool cardigans.

I adapted my perfect-traveling-dress pattern (my own) for dress #1 because I thought the print wanted a fuller skirt and set-in sleeves.

Dress #2 is the unadapted perfect-traveling-dress pattern.
