I have never been to Jerusalem so I have not see the Western wall.  I think it must be very moving, not in a territorial or political way, but as it represents the intersection of humanness, spirituality and faith in a solidly massive, physical form . This photo from www.jerusalemshots.com brings the human scale of suffering and petition into focus.  I have used the idea of the crevasse filled with notes in the small pieces I made this week.
