Banner Bag

I asked a friend recently how her husband's retirement had been recognized. She said there had been a few events and one involved a banner that said   "Congratulations on your retirement Gord!" 
"What," she wondered, "are we supposed to do with that?"
"Banner bag." I said. "You make it into a banner bag." 

I did the making. I got it yesterday afternoon and was just going to have a look at it. You, know...get some ideas. Before I knew it, I had a ruler and scissors in my hands. At that point there is no stopping a train of thought. Here is the bag, and 2 smaller cases using up some of the leftovers. (I am nothing if not obsessed about leftovers!)
