Exhibition Invitation - Looking at Walls
The King's University invites you to an opening reception for Walls, an exhibition of paintings by Rhonda Harder Epp on Wednesday, January 21 at 7:30, 9125 50th Street, Edmonton, The Atrium. Begun in response to visiting Berlin in 2010, Walls is a mediation on separations - from one's people, from one's homeland, from one's deepest desires. Abe Janzen, Executive Director of MCC Alberta, will tell stories about walls encountered on his recent trip to the Middle East. Walls is a co-presentation of The King's University and Mennonite Central Committee Alberta. For more information see this.

The Evergreen Forest Starter Kit
It is a slow way to get a forest, but if the trees grow, they will be convinced that they want to put the effort into being there. There are several kinds of pine cones here, wired together in circles so that they can be flung like frisbees -- perhaps with less precision.
I would like to see how that turns out!

Christmas 'card' 2014
The 2014 Christmas card chandelier gives a nod to the Regency period of Jane Austen and the trip I took with my daughter to England in September.
