A New Flock

 I am editing my magazine shelf. A new flock is rising. I think 3 is a flock. There will be more.

To really set these birds free, I did some magic.

Back-To-School At The Faerie House

It is back-to-school time at the faerie house.  

It is time to put gardening aside. The harvest so far has been good: carrots, tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers. 

There are new clothes, ready to go.

The three friends -- Frog, Hedgehog and Dog -- have their books and pose for their first-day-of-school photo. 

Dog wants to get to the bus stop. "Come on guys! Let's go!"

They don't have far to go. 

Good thing, because the bus is coming.

"Welcome to my bus," the bus driver says, "Hop on! I will take you to school."

And away they go.

It is the start of a new school year. How exciting!

Book Village: Village Book

Like the Book House: House Book, this is made from a Persuasions Journal. I read the yearly journal from the Jane Austen Society cover to cover as they arrived, and reread them before cutting them up. This is essentially a recycling effort.  

The process was almost entirely subtractive. The only place I added anything was on the river in the centre.
