Green Line (1)

6" x 6"
(former 'domino')

"Green Line refers to the demarcation lines set out in the 1949 Armistice Agreements between Israel and its neighbours (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria) after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War..... The name derives from the green ink used to draw the line on the map while the talks were going on."                                                                                                      Wikipedia

"The army was forced to split downtown into two, using fences and razor wire, a modern version of the Green Line."                      Nahlah Ayed, A Thousand Farewells (pg238-9)

I am imagining what a Green Line would mean in my neighbourhood.
