From the Notebook

Every week day I spend 20 minutes with a sketch book. If I didn't have that rule, I would spend 20 minutes a year with a sketch book. There is the freedom of not needing to have a very important idea in the 20 minutes/day plan. Mostly I draw stuff, work out formal design ideas, plan little books. Today I had a colour idea that lingered from yesterday: I love cerulean blue, and better yet in relationship to brick red; I love trains and graffiti. 

From the sketch book: Fast Moving Train with Graffiti, oil pastel and pastel pencil, performed in just over 20 minutes.
