Dictionary Hydrangeas - A How I Made This

Papier mache over a dessert bowl (covered with plastic wrap for easier removal) using dictionary page strips and acrylic medium (this celiac does not have wheat flour in the house and I didn't know it rice flour would work.) Acrylic medium is very nice and dries clear and a little shiny.
This is what it looks like taken off the bowl.
Trimmed. I also punched holes so that maybe when it is done, you can see light through the flower.
Glued wires to the leaves.

3 gauge 20 wires, wound together with lighter wire starting about 9 cm from the top, adding in the leaves along the way.

Branch open the wire tops and kink close to the ends.

Attach to flower 'bowl'
Individually glue on all the flowers (made with a punch)
Ready for petals
